3 New Grooming Products We Tried This Week

We’ve recently got our hands on some new grooming products that we’ve been eager to try and review for you guys, some because they’re renowned as fantastic products by many other reviewers or simply something that we haven’t tried before. Either way, we’ve loved these three and wanted to share what we love about them, and their brands, as well as some links on where to buy them.

1) Kiehl’s Heavy-Lifting Facial Fuel – £38

Kiehl Facial Fuel

This is by far one of the best moisturisers we’ve ever tried here at The Male Stylist, a heavy-duty, luxurious cream that provides great skin hydration and toning to the facial areas. We’ve been researching it and keen to review for a while and, since we got our hands on it  a week ago, it’s become a vital part of our everyday skincare routine.

Once you’ve applied it you can instantly feel it plumping and toning your skin, the texture is thick and smooth meaning application is easy and pleasurable. For anyone who suffers from dry skin this is certainly worth investing in due to its high quality and the fact that you don’t have to use a lot for each application to see results.

2) Philip Kingsley’s Stimulating Scalp Mask – £16

Philip Kingsley Scalp Mask

Although we’ve covered face masks before, scalp masks were an entirely new experience to us. The scalp mask is designed to exfoliate and cleanse the skin on the scalp to help reduce irritation, flaking and prevent clogged pores. After applying it we found our scalp not only felt cleaner and healthier, but the effects were also clear on our hair which felt cleansed and stronger.

Applied once a week you simply massage it into damp hair across all areas on the scalp, after leaving for 15-20 mins and then rinse it away. If you have a spare half-an-hour on a saturday morning it’s definitely worth using it, particular for those who suffer from scalp conditions like dandruff, foliculitis or general scalp irritation.

3) Cornerstone’s Gift Box – £30

Cornerstone Shaving & Grooming Set

Cornerstone are a new shaving brand to the men’s grooming market and were kind enough to send us through a gift box to review. The box itself is laid out as a pre-shave scrub, shaving gel, personalised shaving razor and post-shave balm. The pre-shave scrub and shaving gel are fantastic shaving products that not only help tone the skin and prevent nicks during the shave. They also smell great and have a fresh fragrance that leaves you feeling clean and sharp after.

The Mint & Honey post-shave balm was a little too sweet for our liking but the kit as a whole makes a great gift for any gent, and at £30 it’s a great bargain.

So those are the newest product we’ve loved reviewing, we highly recommend you look into investing in them as they will improve your grooming and skincare regimes massively. As usual, if you’ve enjoyed the article feel free to like, comment and/or share with your friends/followers. I like your reviews. Of the 3 products I have used the 1) Kiehl moisturizer and I like it a lot; however, am now tempted to try the other two
