What A Gent’s Wearing: The Vintage Knitwear Look

Creating varied knitwear looks in winter can be tricky, throwing colours into them can be even tougher. So we’ve put together an outfit that utilizes a variety of colours and styles, with warm knitwear to provide a look that is both modern and sharp but has plenty of vintage influences in it.

The main focus of the look is the fine-knit, cream cardigan providing a clear contrast against the burgundy polo shirt worn beneath. Unbuttoned it creates a great casual style, whilst buttoned-up it sharpens up a little to make a smarter look. These items are then put together with dark navy jeans and a brown belt, for this style we used turn-ups on the jeans to add a slightly dapper element. Finally, the whole look is topped with pair of brown and blue trainers to add a fun yet sharp twist to the outfit.
