With today being New Year’s Eve and 2015’s arrival now tentatively close , it’s time we looked ahead to the future of menswear and what retailers we’ll be keeping our eyes on in the coming season. Spring/Summer 2015 is set to be focused around the inclusion of patterns, prints and colours in the gentleman’s wardrobe and we’ve loved what we’ve seen so far from these 5 retailers.
Suitsupply have been a designer that we’ve been watching in 2014 already. They’re versatility and freedom of design have produced some inspired looks that not only break the current trends of tailoring, but also give an iconic character to their collections. We’re sure that SS15’s focus on colour and patterns will produce great results from Suitsupply and we’re sure they’ll be right at home making them.
The brand renowned for their coats has already managed to turn heads with its vibrant SS15 collection that is not afraid of using bright colours in almost all of their styles. Their runway collection showcases their outerwear expertise with beautiful colouring, that provides both eye-catching and elegant looks that will surely play a vital role in this season’s fashion collections.
Following the outstanding success of the Alexander Wang x H&M collaboration earlier this year, we’re keen to see what H&M have up their sleeves for 2015. Their SS15 lookbook is already incorporating high-end, elegant styles with high-street affordability, however we’re sure they are going to surprise us with another stunning collaboration before Summer is here. Watch this space.
Marked as one of our favourite brands for AW14, we’re pleased to see Oliver Spencer are continuing to forge a path with their new collections. A great combination of sharp outerwear, casual tailoring and quality designs means that they have already been marked as one of the brands to watch for SS15. Watch their show above and see some of their stylish looks in action before you buy.
It’ll come as no surprise to regular readers that Tom Ford has made it into our selection, to say we’re simply fans would be an understatement. His SS15 collection looks to be characteristically masculine with an air of refined elegance to each look. Whether it’s leather, tailoring, summerwear or even double-denim you can’t help but be inspired by the designs he presents. We’re looking forward to seeing more of Tom Ford’s styles in the coming months.
