Savile Row is renowned worldwide as the centre of gentleman’s tailoring. Where wool, silk and cotton are masterfully combined to create clothing art that is unmatched in quality and style. Recently, a few fellow bloggers and I met up on the sartorial streets to celebrate some of our favourite tailored styles and show a few modern trends appearing in suited fashions.
I was joined by top male bloggers Benji Heath, Anton Dvorakovsky and Liam Pitts, who offered a variety of personal styles suitable for different budgets and tailoring tastes. Check them out and let me know what you think of the looks…
All photography credit goes to Themba (picture above), a talented young photographer who was kind enough to get involved with the project and take some fantastic shots. You can follow him on Twitter here and find more of his fantastic work in his photography portfolio.
The suit I wore was all thanks to Tailor4Less, a new online tailoring service that can custom make a suit for you using your measurements and body size. I was able to select fabrics, fit, design, patterns and even details to make the suit my own. I highly recommend checking them out and their Suit Customizer, if only to create your own designs and experiment with different concepts.
This was such a fun project to do and I’m very much looking forward to putting more together. Please feel free to let me know what you think of the looks and styles in the comments below and (if you’re a fellow blogger) let me know if you want to get involved in any future projects. You can also sign-up to be notified of new posts and follow The Male Stylist activity.
