Kurt Geiger LFW Blogger Breakfast

enlight1-16

London Fashion Week is what can only be described as organised chaos for anyone who operates within the fashion industry. Though a thoroughly enjoyable experience, many events are a medley of cocktails, networking, fashion shows and photography. So it was refreshing to be invited along to an early morning breakfast by Kurt Geiger to view their newest collections over coffee and pastries, while Central London was still waking up.

Their Covent Garden store is something of an artistic maze, mixing floor-to-ceiling mirrors and beautiful displays to create the feeling of a huge space inside quite a modest building. A large group of bloggers (both male and female) were milling around the store, getting a closer look at the latest designs and enjoying some early morning chit chat. I bumped into a few friendly faces like Albertine from Dippy Writes, Jodie from Plus Minus Magazine and Anton from Style Division all enjoying the Winter sun on this beautiful Friday morning.

Below are a few of my favourite styles from the day and how I would style them…

The camel colour suede and dark brown leather tassels worked wonderfully together here. Perfect summer footwear for a citybreak in the heat.

enlight1-22

Double monkstraps and blue suede. A match made in heaven.

enlight1-23

I imagine these would go really well with textured/patterned grey tailoring.

enlight1-21

I love the look of the burgundy side panel against the navy suede.

enlight1-19

Both of these are great designs and I think they both work fantastically in very different ways.

I think these are just waiting to be paired with some beige chinos and a navy polo top
