A few weeks back I asked you for your opinions on the blog, what you like about it, what you dislike about it and what needs some improvement. Thankfully, most of your feedback was positive which is greatly appreciated and makes running this blog a real treat for me and all of the contributors involved. However, there were elements that I knew needed some improvement and one or two that were highlighted by you guys. So here are a few changes that are being put into action both this week and in the coming months to help make The Male Stylist a better experience for both new and regular visitors. View Post
As of yesterday we have just hit 30,000 visitors to the site in less than 10 months and continuing to grow at a rapid rate. The Male Stylist now has hundreds of subscribes, over 1500 followers and plenty of readers so the support is much appreciated from everyone out there.
However, now we now need your help to improve the website and the content we produce. Over the next few months we will be looking to improve the structure, articles and design of the website to present a fresh look after the site celebrates its 1 year anniversary in May.
We would also appreciate it (if you feel we deserve it) if you would nominate The Male Stylist in the Beauty Shortlist Awards 2015 for the category of “Regal Gentleman’s Best Men’s Grooming Blogger” award. You can find instructions on how to nominate us here. View Post
Last week renowned leather accessory designers, Aspinal of London, held their LCM collection show at the Truefitt & Hill barbers on Saint James’s Street. The event itself celebrated the best in British design and skill, with beautiful products provided by Aspinal and expert barbers from Truefitt & Hill. By all definitions this was a gentleman’s paradise, craft beers and Prosecco provided on arrival with the option to loan a bag from Aspinal to trial and review. View Post
With today being New Year’s Eve and 2015’s arrival now tentatively close , it’s time we looked ahead to the future of menswear and what retailers we’ll be keeping our eyes on in the coming season. Spring/Summer 2015 is set to be focused around the inclusion of patterns, prints and colours in the gentleman’s wardrobe and we’ve loved what we’ve seen so far from these 5 retailers.
Suitsupply have been a designer that we’ve been watching in 2014 already. They’re versatility and freedom of design have produced some inspired looks that not only break the current trends of tailoring, but also give an iconic character to their collections. We’re sure that SS15’s focus on colour and patterns will produce great results from Suitsupply and we’re sure they’ll be right at home making them. View Post
As the blog founder and editor, I spend most of my time editing and working on content that is hosted on this site. As readers of the blog you’ve probably read a fair few of these posts, however what you may not know is that I have also written articles and been interviewed on other sites. I wanted to post a few more of these on here to give you an opportunity to read them and see a few other talented members of the blogging community in action.
Blogger Showcase: Adam Walker of The Male Stylist – Mallzee
Mallzee, a popular shopping app based in Edinburgh has been doing blogger showcases to show off different styles in both male and female fashion. I was lucky enough to be asked to contribute to the blog to discuss my own personal style and the inspiration behind the outfits on the blog. View Post
