Jack Wills - Bloomsbury Suit Autumn Tailoring

With the recent cold snap that has descended on the UK, I decided to put together a tailored outfit designed for all your seasonally-transitional needs. Men's Suit Style - Grey Suit & Red Gingham

Summer tailoring has always been something of a problem for me. Often it takes bold use of colour, accessories and clever detailing to create an outfit that looks effortlessly dapper and suitable for the summer season. Fortunately, with the help of Hawes & Curtis, I had the opportunity to create three different tailored looks for summer that only use one suit but incorporate different elements and accessories for different styles. You can see them below and leave a comment with your feedback on the outfits.

You can also check out the full Summer Tailoring Style guide Hawes & Curtis created based around this shoot, to purchase the outfits or any of the individual items used. View Post

However, there are a few easy ways to help improve your purchasing power by reducing the cost of your retail therapy. So I’ve listed 4 below that are minimum stress/maximum reward strategies for getting a last second discount before you buy. View Post

Leather Suede Guide

Until recently, I’d always been somewhat apprehensive about wearing suede due to its reputation of being difficult to care for and easily damaged. However, in the last year or so my collection of suede items has increased drastically and, with it, the amount of time I’ve spent researching suede care and repair guides. Suede is, by no means, the easiest fabric to look after and in fact is something of a labour of love. If you want it to last, you do have to put in the hours with it, regularly maintain the exterior and protect it from a variety of elements. With that in mind, I’ve put together 5 tips on caring for suede to keep you and your items looking sharp. View Post
