Normally my styles can be a tad formal and, especially at this time of year, this isn’t always the best policy. With London in the midst of its own heatwave and the humidity levels rising, I decided to go a bit more informal and put together a look that uses simple contrasts and French/Italian elements to create a light, summery ensemble that looks good in any sunbathed town or city. Savile Row is renowned worldwide as the centre of gentleman’s tailoring. Where wool, silk and cotton are masterfully combined to create clothing art that is unmatched in quality and style. Recently, a few fellow bloggers and I met up on the sartorial streets to celebrate some of our favourite tailored styles and show a few modern trends appearing in suited fashions.
I was joined by top male bloggers Benji Heath, Anton Dvorakovsky and Liam Pitts, who offered a variety of personal styles suitable for different budgets and tailoring tastes. Check them out and let me know what you think of the looks… View Post
On Saturday morning, Anton (from Style Division) and I spent the morning walking around the Embankment and Southbank area, enjoying the crisp winter air and sun. We managed to get a few shots from the day around various locations and exhibitions. The outfit was mainly designed to be casual and comfortable on this cool clear morning, with a hint of 60s biker look to add a little edge.
My thanks to Anton for his photography skills and to London for providing such a beautiful day to shoot on. View Post
With Christmas just over a week away and the weather only getting colder, this week’s outfit is all about keeping the cold out and the warm in. It’s not always practical or convenient for men to wear a full suit under a coat and, should the event being attended by a more casual affair, can often result in you feeling a tad overdressed. On top of this you have the issue of creasing up your newly pressed suit under your coat which looks neither smart nor stylish. As a solution, we’ve put together an outfit that is simple and smart but flexible enough to work in a variety of smart/casual events this Christmas season. View Post
Creating varied knitwear looks in winter can be tricky, throwing colours into them can be even tougher. So we’ve put together an outfit that utilizes a variety of colours and styles, with warm knitwear to provide a look that is both modern and sharp but has plenty of vintage influences in it. View Post
