This outfit was one requested several times by multiple readers, a few weeks back, asking what a gent would wear to a festival or outdoor gig. The main focus was to incorporate tailoring into a smartened festival theme, not necessarily for Glastonbury but maybe for an all-day concert in the park.
Today’s outfit is inspired by the Mediterranean tailoring often seen on the Italian Riviera in the summer sun. Using crisp colours contrasts and slim cut tailoring, the result is an outfit that not only looks sharp in the daytime but is flexible enough to be appropriate for many occasions. View Post
Following on from our post last month about styling a Summer Evening Outfit in Black, we had several requests to put an outfit together that would be more appropriate for summer mornings/afternoons but follows a similar style. As a result we decided to tailor the outfit’s colours and style to better suit a Mediterranean morning rather than an evening dinner party. View Post
As the summer months are at our doorstep and men everywhere are getting ready to enjoy the heat, we decided to put together a list of some summer style essentials that every gentleman needs whether you’re at home or abroad this summer.
1) Boat Shoes
Throwing out those old flip-flops in favour of some more stylish boat shoes is the first step in achieving that gentleman summer look. Worn in both formal and casual settings these can easily add a Mediterranean feel to your outfit whilst keeping you cool in the summer heat. Russell & Bromley do a fine selection for around £100 or if you’re operating on a slightly smaller budget you can check out River Island’s range for around half the price. The Rust Red boat shoe (above) is a favourite over here at The Male Stylist. View Post
